You will also play a key role in supporting the development of junior engineers and collaborating across teams, clients, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in project meetings, including kick-off sessions, concept and design reviews.
  • Proactively engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering outputs, identifying any scope changes early.
  • Take full ownership of technical aspects of allocated projects.
  • Develop URS documentation, conceptual designs, and detailed engineering solutions.
  • Perform mechanical and structural calculations and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Produce and check CAD drawings, supporting documents, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Present and chair design reviews, clearly communicating solutions and ideas.
  • Support sales and proposal teams with design input and feasibility reviews.
  • Mentor and assist in the training of graduate and junior engineers.

About You

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the offshore industry.
  • Strong background in structural and mechanical design for offshore environments (topside and subsea).
  • Proven experience preparing and presenting design packs for third-party appraisal.
  • Proficiency in FEA and structural analysis software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Skilled in 2D/3D CAD for mechanical and structural applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Capable of producing high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and delivering engineering excellence.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on high-impact offshore engineering projects.
  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
  • Opportunities for career growth, training, and mentorship.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • A dynamic work environment with a strong focus on innovation and quality.
