This is an exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer to contribute to a nationally important project, working alongside experienced professionals and supporting key commercial and project controls activities that drive informed decision-making.

As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and analysis across a major engineering programme.

  • Produce and maintain accurate cost and forecast data aligned to CBS/WBS structures.
  • Maintain cost and forecast information within project systems such as EcoSys and SAP.
  • Analyse project performance and provide commentary on key cost drivers.
  • Support trend and change management processes across the project.
  • Generate performance indicators and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide analytical support to Senior Cost Engineers.
  • Interpret technical, financial and performance data to support project priorities.

HND or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering or a related discipline. Experience working within a project management environment. Previous experience within a project controls discipline. Understanding of project controls methodologies and techniques. Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to interpret financial and technical information. Proficiency in cost management systems such as EcoSys, SAP or similar.
