Electrician (with IPAF ticket)

Containment installation and 1st fixing, 6 industrial units.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Electrician (JIB/ECS qualified) with a valid IPAF licence to join our team on an industrial project in SW20. The role involves containment installation and 1st fix electrical works across multiple industrial units.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical containment including:
- Tray
- Basket
- Trunking
- Conduit (metal & PVC)
- Carrying out 1st fix electrical installations in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and site plans
- Measuring, cutting, and installing containment systems to a high standard
- Working safely at height using IPAF equipment (MEWP)
- Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Liaising with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth site progress
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card (preferred)
- IPAF Licence (3a/3b) – essential
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial environments
- Strong experience in containment and 1st fix work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools and PPE
- Good understanding of site health & safety
Desirable
- Previous experience on industrial units or large-scale commercial projects
- Ability to work from drawings without supervision
- PASMA (advantageous but not essential)
