About the role PwC are celebrating a decade of successful Workday project delivery with major UK and global clients. To capitalise on this success, we are currently looking for an experienced Workday Prism & Accounting Centre Lead to join our Workday recognised Prism & Accounting Center European centre of excellence, part of our growing Workday Consulting Team. If you want to take your career to the next level and apply your skills to challenging and business-focused customer transformation programmes, then this could be for you. PwC doesn’t simply configure Workday but treat Workday as a fundamental element of our business transformation services. Our team members create and apply Workday and broader solutions that re-imagine the possible, bringing business value and improved user and customer experience.
What your days will look like:
- Own end-to-end delivery of Prism & Accounting Centre programmes: operating model, data architecture and enrichment, event frameworks, accounting rules and governance.
- Define canonical data models and pipelines (files/APIs), design lineage, quality thresholds and control points; align with Workday Record to Report.
- Lead workshops to challenge requirements and shape transformation roadmaps combining Prism datasets, Accounting Center event processing and Workday reporting/Prism analytics dashboards.
- Govern engineering/configuration squads across on/offshore; set standards for performance, cost and reliability (DataOps, CI/CD, environments).
- Drive stakeholder alignment across Finance, Risk, Compliance, Tax and Technology; articulate business cases and benefits.
- Build capability, coach managers and senior consultants; contribute thought leadership and propositions.
This role is for you if:
- You’re a Finance Transformation leader with deep hands-on understanding of Prism and Accounting Centre and their interplay with Workday Record to Report, with experience of leading mid-large sized teams.
- Bonus: Workday certifications in Financials; experience in controls, audit, and complex source-to-ledger scenarios (e.g., sub-ledger replacement, front and/or back office transformation programmes).
- You have a demonstrable record of managing people, including onshore and offshore resources.
- You can quickly build relationships with our clients and across our networked organisation, being able to gain immediate credibility and adapting your style to suit your audience.
- You have a passion to invest in others, to help them develop in their careers as part of our team.
What you’ll receive from us:
No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
