PwC\’s Employment Tax, Payroll & Rewards group assists clients with Canadian employer tax considerations, including cross border employment, domestic payroll, benefits taxability, and provincial considerations. The team supports clients through consulting and outsourcing payroll functions. The Rewards team specializes in stock compensation and employee rewards, working closely with global firms to bring best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting to senior management
- Consult on employment tax and payroll compliance issues
- Support and review junior staff’s work in payroll processing
- Handle documentation, billing, and performance evaluations
- Develop client relationships and identify new opportunities
- Enhance technical skills and participate in recruiting
- Stay updated on business and economic issues
- Follow risk management procedures
Required Skills:
- Experience with multi-provincial payroll rules and Canadian payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian/Dayforce, UKG)
- Strong understanding of employment tax and payroll regulations
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll landscape, including Quebec
- Experience with global mobility payroll implications is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent client service and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French required for Quebec opportunities; a strong asset outside Quebec

Additional Information:
