Job Description
PwC is hiring for a Tax Associate to join its Corporate Tax services team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, along with some experience in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations. The Tax Associate will provide tax advice to clients, helping them meet their tax obligations and manage the impact of tax on their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on local and overseas tax affairs
- Act as a strategic consultant on business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners
- Assist organizations in understanding the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties
- Provide advice on tax implications of deals
- Help clients improve their tax functions to control risk and facilitate better decision-making
- Support businesses with tax strategy, compliance, increasing post-tax profits, and applying best corporate tax practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 0+ years of experience in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license or actively working towards it
- Master’s degree in taxation or a related field
- Experience with tax compliance services, including planning, strategy, and execution
