Overview

As a Support Worker, you will be an essential member of our team with a friendly, calm and compassionate approach. You will provide support and enable our clients to fulfil their ambitions and potential. Together we will ensure we make a positive difference in our client’s lives.

Responsibilities

  • To work with the young people according to the individuals needs, providing personal care, encouragement and a high standard of care as planned and directed.
  • To assist in the co-ordination of activities within the Unit and ensure that they are well managed and produce safe and consistent care.
  • To be involved in and organise activities which are in the best interests and meet the needs of those looked after.
  • Training & Development.
  • Administration and report writing.
  • Medication administration.
  • Ensure security of the house, including contents, confidential records, cash, keys, furniture and equipment, residents’ clothing and possessions.
  • To assist management in attending to the health of the service users, arranging medical and dental examinations, and maintaining high standards of hygiene within the home.
