As a Resource Manager, you will manage a team of Resource Officers to deliver workforce and people deployment solutions, often in fast-paced and changing environments. You will work with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen, and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions. This role offers opportunities to learn key leadership skills from established stakeholders and to develop professionally, especially for those with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset. What your day will look like: Manage all demand requests using workforce planning systems. Support the Resourcing Senior Lead to deliver on business strategic and people priorities, including fair work allocation and skills reviews. Deliver operational reporting that provides clear trends, risks, and actions for the business. Oversee headcount planning and movements, including monthly reconciliation, interaction with Human Capital (HC), and recruitment activities such as transfers, secondments, visa checks, and business case support for permanent moves. Also, manage annual headcount budget planning and reviews. Line manage, develop, and coach team officers. This role is for you if: You have experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment, or Operational People Management. You excel in stakeholder management and influencing, with the ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders. You demonstrate resilience and can operate under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines. You communicate effectively, adapting your style to your audience. You possess strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to use resourcing metrics and KPIs for decision-making, and have analytical skills with knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
