About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and driven Private Client Manager to play a key role in our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of High Net worth individuals, Trusts and Partnerships acting as a trusted adviser in this area. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional organisational skills, and a proven ability to deliver end-to-end client service.
What your days will look like:
- Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals, Trusts, Partnerships acting as their key point of contact and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert guidance on complex private client tax matters.
- End-to-End Responsibility: Take ownership of client delivery, including compliance, ad-hoc advisory work, billing and ensuring adherence to firmwide risk management procedures.
- Tax Compliance & Advisory: Oversee and review the preparation of complex tax computations and returns, while providing proactive advice on planning opportunities and wider tax issues.
- Team Development: Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development and enhancing the overall capability of the team.
- Client Interaction: Engage regularly with clients to anticipate needs, exceed expectations, and deliver exceptional service.
This role is for you if:
- Proven track record in a private client role with strong technical expertise in private client taxation, with proven experience managing similar client portfolios.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive problem-solver with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Professionally qualified (CTA/ACA) or other equivalent experience.
