The role closely supports the Senior UK Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and UK CISO with maintaining and developing engagement with both the UK firm and the wider global security community. The Senior UK BISOs are the key relationship contacts for specific area(s) of the UK firm, working closely with both the senior leadership and providing security guidance and support across the rest of the business.
The BISO Senior Associate role is primarily focused towards:
- Supporting Senior BISOs with proactive and regular engagement with, and relationship management of stakeholders.
- Assisting business teams with navigating various security assessment processes and teams, providing security guidance and support.
- Taking data and translating it into a relatable, digestible, creative form to use with business teams.
- Working with Snr BISO/CISO Leadership Team and business teams on delivering security engagement, awareness and best practices.

- You have an inquisitive nature and intuition regarding what questions to ask, when, and their relative significance - a desire and curiosity to learn.
- You possess engaging communication skills to assist, inform, and build relationships with stakeholders in both the business and support teams, to enable effective information security activities and processes aligned to the firm’s security strategy.
- Previous experience in a similar cyber or risk role is desirable - OR, a strong understanding of information security with transferable skills.
- You have the ability to manage workload - prioritise and recognise when to escalate to management.
- Intermediate to strong data manipulation and visualisation skills are desirable - e.g. PowerBI.
- You have an interest in PwC’s business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm’s threat landscape.
- Project management skills are desirable.
