The UK Business Information Security Officer (BISO) team are trusted, knowledgeable cyber specialists who reflect the pace, interest and change of our business and client requirements. They drive the security of the UK firm by acting as a vital business partnering link between the business teams and global security organisation.
We are looking to add an entry level Associate BISO to join the team to either begin or continue building their cyber security career.
What your days will look like:
- The role closely supports the Senior UK Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and UK CISO with maintaining and developing engagement with both the UK firm and the wider global security community.
- The Senior UK BISOs are the key relationship contacts for specific area(s) of the UK firm, working closely with both the senior leadership and providing security guidance and support across the rest of the business.
- The BISO Associate role is primarily focused towards:
- Supporting Senior BISOs with proactive and regular connection with business teams on varying cyber security queries and topics.
- Work with Head of Engagement / Senior BISOs on new and creative ways of delivering security engagement, awareness and best practices.
- Assisting business teams with navigating various security assessment processes for building or using new technology tools including AI, providing security guidance and support.
- Taking data and translating into a relatable, digestible, creative form to use with business teams helping them understand cyber risks - risks you will support addressing with Senior BISOs, wider CISO team and the business.
This role is for you if:
- Thrive on helping people, with a problem solving/stakeholder management/customer service outlook – enjoy engaging and communicating with business teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Keen interest in cyber security and looking to build cyber career in a large, ever-evolving, tech focussed environment.
- Experience with, or keen to develop new ways to engage, communicate and inform about cyber security with our workforce eg: via short clips, gamification, in person activities.
- Intermediate data manipulation and visualization skills desirable.
- Previous experience in cyber security environment desirable.
- An interest of PwC’s business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm’s threat landscape.
