The role
PwC’s S& M&A Operations team assists both Corporate and Private Equity (PE) clients in a wide range of business critical operational and transformational challenges, driven by Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activity. We advise our clients on deals with values ranging from £50 million to over £ billion. Our clients include some of the most well-known brands and businesses in the world.
We have a dynamic and friendly team from diverse backgrounds. We recruit proactively from industry, consulting, private equity, and audit to create a blend of relevant experience to support each transaction. Our technology specialists have deep expertise, and we are looking to expand this team to achieve our growth goals.
What your days will look like
S& M&A Operations focuses on supporting potential and actual M&A transactions, assisting clients in all operational aspects of the transaction, pre- and post-deal, including:
- Pre-deal value creation advisory
- Buy and sell side operational due diligence
- Synergy development and review
- Carve out and divestment support
- Taking control and day planning
- Mergers & Acquisitions Integration
- Post-acquisition performance improvement

This role is for you if you have:
- Ability to formulate IT strategy and analyze IT operating models
- Experience with key business applications such as ERP, CRM, MI, Middleware, eCommerce
- Comfort with IT and operational analysis
- Proficiency in IT financial modeling and budgeting
- Experience reviewing IT-enabled performance improvements and cost reduction strategies
- Ability to read and analyze business processes and identify issues and opportunities
- Familiarity with Enterprise IT and data architecture
- Experience supporting IT projects, planning, and costing
- Ability to synthesize large information sets and communicate effectively
