About the role
Our Financial Services Technology Data and Resilience (TDR) team helps FS firms navigate a fast-moving regulatory landscape while helping them to manage complex data and technology environments. From shaping data strategies to uplifting their data maturity through enhanced data management practices, we combine deep sector insight with leading technology to solve problems alongside our clients.
What your days will look like
- Data Governance Implementation: Support clients in implementing data governance and data quality frameworks aligned with BCBS 239 and industry best practices (DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK).
- Regulatory Data Management: Contribute to the design of risk data aggregation and reporting processes to meet Basel III/IV, COREP, FINREP, and stress testing requirements.
- Data Quality & Lineage: Deliver assessments and improvement initiatives for data quality, lineage, and metadata management.
- Transformation Delivery: Work across business and technology functions to deliver practical data solutions that enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Tooling: Contribute to the design and implementation of data management tools and platforms, including metadata management, data glossaries, lineage, quality, and observability solutions. Support the exploration and application of innovative technologies and GenAI to improve automation and insight within data governance processes.
- Client Delivery: Manage workstreams and small teams on data transformation projects, delivering high-quality outputs and ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging regulatory and technology developments affecting data management in banking.
- Change Management: Support the delivery of business and data change initiatives, helping clients address technical challenges and implementing effective, sustainable improvements.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with client teams, contributing to account growth and client satisfaction through high-quality delivery.
The role is for you if
- Experience in data governance, risk data, or data transformation within banking.
- Working knowledge of BCBS 239, Basel III/IV, and data governance frameworks (DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK).
- Experience in data management and transformation projects in risk, finance, or regulatory reporting contexts.
- Familiarity with data tools and technologies (e.g. Collibra, Alteryx, Power BI, Informatica, or SQL) preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing deliverables and small project teams in a consulting environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data, or related discipline.
- Exposure to cloud data architectures and modern analytics platforms.
- Understanding of AI, automation, and cloud data architectures in data management.
- Professional certifications in data management (e.g. DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP) preferred.
