Our Cyber Forensic Investigations practice, operating under Forensic Services, focuses on cyber crisis preparation, cyber incident response and technical investigations. Our client base is agnostic and we service virtually all industries. At the core of our expertise is an ability to extract insights from vast amounts of data to make informed decisions. Our collective knowledge from the PwC network and business partners allows us to bring creative solutions to the continually evolving digital landscape.
As a Cyber Forensic Investigations Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute and manage cyber crisis mandates
- Manage several clients through delivery and project management, while reporting to senior management of the practice
- Develop and mentor junior team members
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:
- Extensive experience in Cyber Incident Response, Cyber preparedness mandates and digital investigation delivery
- Strong understanding in tools specific to Incident response and digital investigations
- Demonstrated forensic collection expertise across end user and network devices, social media, and remote repositories using forensics acquisition tools (Cellebrite, Falcon, FTK Imager, Sumuri Paladin, Macquisition, X1 Social Discovery, Axiom, etc)
- Clear understanding and experience of chain of custody methodology
- Demonstrated experience in the use of forensic analysis tools (EnCase, XWays, Access Data etc)
- Knowledge and understanding of technical digital infrastructures including security protocols and technologies
- Experience in security device log analysis
This role doesn’t support completion of the Canadian CPA designation.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
