We are looking for an experienced and driven Private Client Manager to play a key role in our expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of high net-worth individuals, trusts and partnerships, acting as a trusted adviser. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional organisational skills, and proven ability to deliver end-to-end client service.
What your days will look like:
- Manage a portfolio of high net-worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships as the key point of contact, building strong long-term relationships.
- Provide expert guidance on complex private-client tax matters.
- Take ownership of client delivery, including compliance, ad-hoc advisory work, billing and adherence to firmwide risk-management procedures.
- Oversee and review the preparation of complex tax computations and returns, while providing proactive advice on planning opportunities and wider tax issues.
- Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development and enhancing overall capability.
- Engage regularly with clients to anticipate needs, exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
This role is for you if:
- Proven track record in a private-client role with strong technical expertise in private-client taxation and experience managing similar client portfolios.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive problem-solver with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Professionally qualified (CTA / ACA) or other equivalent experience.
