We seek driven, entrepreneurial, high-achieving, and high-potential individuals to elevate our Finance and ERP Transformation Consulting practice. Currently, we have an opening for a Finance Process and Target Operating Model Business Architect at the Director level to join our team.
You will collaborate closely with client finance leaders to assess current processes, identify optimization opportunities, and design and implement future-state solutions aligned with digital, regulatory, and commercial needs. As part of a cross-functional team, you will advise on modernizing finance operating models, standardizing core processes, enhancing control environments, and integrating enabling technologies such as ERP, RPA, AI, and analytics.
What your days will look like
- Resolving key design decisions focusing on business architecture and integration for our I&AWM clients.
- Developing cost models for large-scale FT implementations and leading project analysis for transitioning to modernized cloud platforms.
- Developing project strategies to solve complex business challenges for clients.
- Architecting and innovating ahead of IT solution delivery, leading UI strategies, and evaluating technology options, focusing on SAP, Oracle, or Workday, with knowledge of surrounding technologies like actuarial, data (AWS, Azure, Palantir, etc.).
- Managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring alignment with C-suite and key decision-makers, with a strong focus on business development.
- Managing and delivering large projects by mentoring teams, assessing Business Architecture options, and managing engagement risks.
- Shaping and delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations and quality standards.
- Influencing clients’ adoption of AI solutions (generative AI, agentic AI, etc.) as they evolve.
- Training, coaching, and supervising team members, especially in strategy and operating model sub-solutions.
- Participating in the leadership team to shape our FT & ERP strategy and execution.
This role is for you if:
- Strong understanding of Insurance Finance areas (finance, actuarial, operations, FP&A, consolidation, business performance). Optional: knowledge of A&WM finance functions.
- Deep understanding of core finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with process mapping and diagnostic capabilities (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Solid grasp of financial reporting and controls, including IFRS 17 / UK GAAP.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, from finance operations to CFO level.
- Strong sales and project delivery experience, preferably in consulting or transformation environments.
- Understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., agentic AI) and ability to develop client propositions.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience advising finance functions in large organizations or knowledge of finance technologies (Oracle Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, etc.).
- Experience with data and process mining tools (e.g., Celonis).
- Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., PROSCI).
- Knowledge of shared services, GBS, or outsourcing models.
