About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Indirect Tax Services group, working with our FTSE 100 team and a diverse range of multinational clients. You\’ll be part of a dynamic, expanding team in a consulting environment where routine work is rare. Projects vary from bespoke solutions for specific client issues to collaborating with other PwC specialisms, ensuring integrated client service. The role includes advising UK clients on international VAT obligations. Indirect tax practice, especially in the mid‑tier, offers a broad spectrum of opportunities and professional growth.
What your days will look like
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Be involved in the financial management of clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
The role is for you if
- A proven track record in advising clients from a range of sectors and industries on complex Valued Added Tax (VAT) issues.
- A motivated, proactive individual that has the ability to build and maintain their own client relationships.
- To be able to assist in the development of VAT technical offerings and to easily disseminate complex messages in a manner that is easy to understand.
- Someone who will respond well to being encouraged to shape and actively manage their career development through involvement in a broad variety of work.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills. Excellent project management skills.
- A commercial, client service driven approach to your work.
