About the role:

Our team helps financial institutions transform and deliver their TPRM Frameworks and Operating Models, helping them to better identify, assess, manage and report third party risk in delivering their businesses, leverage new technologies, build resilience, and meet new and evolving regulations.

  • We are currently looking for a skilled, ambitious and enthusiastic Senior Manager to join us to help support the continued development and delivery of our market-leading TPRM proposition within our new Technology, Data & Resilience Go to Market in Financial Services Risk.

What your days will look like:

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your engagement and client portfolio, but will likely touch upon all areas of the support we provide to our clients in transforming their TPRM Frameworks and Operating Models. This includes working as part of our engagement teams to help drive the review, design, build and implementation of:

  • Strategies and risk appetites
  • Governance models
  • Data, technology and tooling
  • MI and reporting
  • Risk assessments and due diligence
  • Contracting
  • Contingency and exit plans
  • Ongoing monitoring and assurance
  • Change management and exit

This and your broader support for team and proposition development will involve:

  • Communicating findings and advice with impact, both verbally and in written form
  • Working collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts and other parts of the PwC network to help bring the best of the firm to our clients
  • Being agile and working across a range of different clients, programmes and initiatives
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Monitoring and analysing new and emerging regulations
  • Leveraging our digital assets and accelerators, while helping identify and explore new innovative solutions
  • Working with a supportive team and leadership to further enhance our client solutions
  • Coaching more junior team members and reviewing their work
  • Helping to drive positive, inclusive team cultures
  • Embracing opportunities for your own professional learning and development

This role is for you if you have:

  • Strong understanding of key UK and EMEA outsourcing and TPRM requirements, including EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, PRA SS2/21, the UK Critical Third Parties Regime and the EU\’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
  • Proven experience successfully supporting the remediation and end-to-end design, build and implementation of enhanced TPRM Frameworks and operating models
  • Sound understanding of non-financial risk and controls
  • Strong research, analytical, problem solving and solution design capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and to build and sustain relationships
  • High intellectual curiosity and agility
  • Confidence in managing change and complexity
  • Strong risk management skills
