Overview
Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You\’ll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

Our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team is one of the fastest growing areas of PwC\’s Financial Services tax advisory practice. We are looking for a Senior Manager with strong UK Corporate Tax experience to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Your responsibilities will predominantly be focused on advisory work as tax compliance work is delivered from our compliance centre.
- You will be responsible for helping to manage an established team and providing excellent quality advisory services to a high-profile portfolio of both UK and multinational clients.
- Is it technically demanding and creative, and offers opportunities to work on major transactions, international structuring, and a range of day-to-day UK tax matters and audit of tax work.
- There will also be opportunities to develop deeper knowledge in particular areas of interest such as group reorganisations, BEPs planning and divestments and acquisitions.
- You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients, working as part of a team and delivering the Firms tax services. You will benefit from a progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop client relationships, technical and people management skills.
- In addition to managing the tax affairs for a portfolio of clients, the appointed individual will lead a team of corporate tax managers and associates responsible for the delivery of taxation services to a wide range of clients.
- As a Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to work with experienced Partners and Directors across the FS team. The team will provide you with the opportunity to put into practice your tax technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a CTA/CA/ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent)
- We are looking to appoint qualified (legal/accountancy) managers with strong UK tax experience to manage client teams and work closely with the Partners in building all aspects of our business.
- We are looking for motivated and ambitious candidates with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ideally, you will have practical experience of working within one or more of the asset management sub-sectors, but this is not essential.
- Audit of tax experience is ideal
