Join to apply for the Financial Services, Alternative Investment Funds, Senior Manager role at PwC. PwC's Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) team sits within our wider Financial Services Tax team. The team consists of specialists focusing on assisting alternative investment fund managers with services across the manager, the key people, the funds, investors and investments. While the team is UK based, much of the work is international, offering opportunities to collaborate with the wider PwC AIF network.

As a Senior Manager you will work as part of a team to provide high-quality advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of UK and multinational clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of AIF clients, covering strategies including Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds and Real Estate. You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills, work with experienced Partners and Directors, and apply your technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment.

What you’ll do

  • The alternative investment funds industry is dynamic, technically demanding and offers opportunities to work on large complex international projects as well as UK tax matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and advise on issues covering the manager/advisor, the fund, the fund executives, the investors, the investments and tax reporting.
  • Work closely with other parts of the business, including the wider Financial Services Tax team and Deals tax and international PwC member firms.
  • Manage client teams and coach and support junior members, encouraging everyone to have a voice and inviting opinions from all.
  • Contribute to the growth of the team through developing junior members and contributing to marketing activities and thought leadership.

This role is for you if

  • You have experience of working with alternative investment fund managers.
  • You are interested in building relationships with senior client leadership and founders, owning day-to-day deliverables and developing junior team members.
  • You are commercially and operationally proactive and agile, keen to work in a fast-paced, exciting and ever-changing environment with support from Partners and Directors.
  • You enjoy meeting new people, working with clients developing their business and exploring new ideas.
  • You have a UK accounting, tax or legal qualification (or an international equivalent).
