Our Private Client Alternative Investment Fund team specialise in advising wealthy individuals and their businesses in the Alternative Investment Fund space. We work within both PwC’s Private Client Network and AIF network, collaborating widely to offer a holistic, end-to-end service to our clients.

What your days will look like:
- Assisting with the management of a diverse and broad portfolio of client engagements, while delegating responsibility to junior staff (Associates) and consulting Managers, Senior Managers and Directors where applicable.
- Working on a diverse and broad portfolio of client engagements, including international high net worth individuals, private equity funds and their executives.
- Preparing advice for clients and internal stakeholders on the latest tax technical issues, including delivering sessions with senior management at client/knowledge sharing events.
- Maintaining a level of relevant US & UK tax knowledge, staying current with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation.
- Supervising, coaching and providing regular feedback to Associates within the team while also keeping more senior stakeholders updated on progress.
The role is for you if:
- Relevant, detailed and up-to-date UK tax knowledge in the personal tax space is essential. Experience of dealing with complex tax issues facing owners, founders and executives, as well as privately or family owned businesses is highly relevant.
- Must possess a CTA, ACA, ATT or Enrolled Agency Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- Efficient use of technology – in managing client and contact relationships, pursuing opportunities and overseeing the delivery of tax returns and written deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills – the candidate will be expected to be one of the points of contact on complex client engagements in their portfolio while supporting a range of stakeholders including client contacts and PwC staff.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet several deadlines throughout the year and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong analytical & technical skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance.
