About the role: As a Director, you will play a leading role in originating, structuring, negotiating and executing ABL transactions in the mid‑market, acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, CEOs, sponsors and other senior stakeholders. Utilising your network, you will drive origination and new opportunities across the UK. You will be expected to contribute to the coaching and development of junior team members.

What your days will look like:

  • Act as the day‑to‑day lead on client engagements, leading the end‑to‑end execution of a full financing transaction, including deal structuring, producing marketing materials and financial models and negotiation of term sheets and the full loan agreement.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with banks, private credit funds and alternative lenders to stay abreast of pricing, terms, leverage and lender appetite in the ABL market.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting origination effort.
  • Coaching and development of junior team members, providing guidance, review and timely feedback.

The role is for you if:

  • You have a strong track record of originating and executing transactions within the ABL market, with at least significant experience in debt advisory and/or banking.
  • You have a strong understanding of debt markets and ABL financing structures with a commercial mindset and ability to think strategically and negotiate effectively.
  • You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, suitable for senior stakeholders.
  • You have the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, lenders, and to successfully manage teams.
