About the role
You’ll be joining our Oracle Consulting services team. As a Certified Oracle Cloud partner, we help our clients use Oracle’s technology and applications to build their digital enterprise on the cloud; transform business functions, including finance, supply chain, HR, and tax; achieve maximum value on their investment through Managed Cloud Services; and help them manage risk and ‘go live’ on time and on budget through Oracle Cloud Embedded Assurance. You’ll be joining a team that’s rated by Gartner and IDC Marketspace as a Leader in several categories, including being positioned as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Oracle Cloud Application Services, worldwide. You’ll work with the latest technologies and big-name companies on projects that are driving the future of those organisations.
Playing key roles on client engagements, assisting in creating new opportunities and contributing to knowledge sharing and the development of our people.
What your days will look like:
- Leading, or providing key support to the data workstream for large client programmes focused on Oracle ERP technology using our industry leading methodologies to transform client’s businesses.
- Leading more junior PwC data consultants through data migration and reporting activities from strategy to design through to deployment.
- Leading clients with implementation and support of Oracle Cloud as a data lead, or key resource.
- Leading, monitoring and maintaining data related progress of programme plans and governance to ensure delivery of the key stages and goals within agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality.
- Assisting the client with monitoring data tasks and progress of client activities; and assessing risks and issues by maintaining logs and contingency plans.
This role is for you if:
- Must be able to be SC cleared.
- Experience in designing and implementing reporting and data migration strategies and plans.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, including Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Cloud databases.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process steps and different tools.
- Good proficiency in SQL or PL/SQL.
- Understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and architecture concepts.
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Full lifecycle experience of a minimum of 3 Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Awareness and understanding of the capabilities across Oracle applications and platform components, including ERP (Finance and Supply Chain), EPM, SCM, HCM.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including data mapping and migration plans.
- Experience in developing and executing testing plans (e.g., Unit Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing) for data migration.
- Development of workstream plans for delivery.
