We bring deep expertise across Regulatory Advisory, Risk & Control Advisory, Sustainability Advisory, and Internal Audit, enabling clients to respond effectively to a rapidly evolving business landscape. As a Manager, you’ll take a leading role in delivering high-impact engagements, developing our propositions, and driving relationships that create long-term value. You will work with senior stakeholders across the industry, supporting their strategic priorities and guiding them through transformation, assurance, and regulatory change.

What your days will look like: In this role, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams on diverse client engagements, with work spanning:

  • Regulatory Advisory: Leading projects on prudential and conduct regulation, board effectiveness, supporting and reviewing the implementation of Consumer Duty, and major regulatory change initiatives.
  • Risk & Control Advisory: Designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise risk frameworks and financial reporting controls (e.g. SOx / ICFR), capital and liquidity assessments, and governance improvements.
  • Sustainability Advisory: Advising clients on sustainability strategy, climate risk, ESG reporting (e.g. TCFD, Net Zero), and integrating sustainability considerations into risk and business processes.
  • Internal Audit: Scoping, delivering, and reporting on internal audit and assurance engagements, providing actionable insights to strengthen client governance and control environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Delivery: Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring outputs are high quality, commercially relevant, and on time.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain trusted senior relationships, acting as a go-to advisor and identifying opportunities to bring value.
  • Business Development: Actively contribute to practice growth by originating, developing, and converting new opportunities, as well as supporting proposals and bids.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop junior team members; foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Market Insight: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry, regulatory, and ESG developments, translating them into client impact and proposition enhancements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other PwC specialists to provide joined-up solutions across regulatory, risk, finance, technology, and sustainability disciplines.

This role is for you if you have:

  • Proven track record in delivering advisory or assurance engagements in at least one of the four core areas: regulatory change, risk & controls, sustainability/ESG, or internal audit.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to develop and innovate client propositions and translate market trends into solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to operate at senior client levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how complex organisations operate.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with sound judgment in high‑pressure situations.

What you’ll receive from us: No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
