The Business Relationships team is central to PwC's ability to pursue innovative collaborations while maintaining strict compliance with independence regulations. As the firm expands its service offerings and global reach, the Business Relationships team's work is increasingly business critical. You will gain exposure to a wide range of PwC activities, build a strong internal network, and contribute directly to the firm's strategic objectives. You will also play a key role in safeguarding PwC's independence and reputation by managing the assessment and approval of business relationships with external parties.
What your days will look like:
- Oversee creation, review, and refresh of Joint Business Relationship (JBR) assessments in Salesforce for proposed external collaborations, ensuring compliance with IESBA and SEC independence rules.
- Advise on independence queries related to business relationships, interpreting policy requirements and offering practical solutions.
- Liaise with engagement teams, risk teams, and global independence colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of JBR processes.
- Track JBR volumes, approval rates, and SLA performance, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support the growth of the JBR Centre of Excellence through resource planning and process optimisation.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, assist with other independence activities, and coach junior team members to promote best practice.
