About The Role

PwC is celebrating a decade of successful Workday project delivery with major UK and global clients. To capitalize on this success, we are currently looking for a Workday Solution Architect to join our established and growing Workday Consulting Team. Our team members create and apply Workday and broader solutions that re-imagine the possible, bringing business value and improved user and customer experience.

What Your Days Will Look Like

1. Taking responsibility for the overall solution design of our client-facing Workday Financials projects, including design of the Foundational Data Model.
2. Ensuring deliverables across the functional, integrations, and data workstreams are consistent and of high quality.
3. Working at all levels within our clients’ organizations from C-suite to finance team members to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.
4. Making significant contributions to business development activities, whether delivering demos, discovery workshops, or taking responsibility for our technical offerings.
5. Engaging constantly with our Workday Project Managers and Engagement Managers to ensure project delivery and resourcing align with technical requirements.
6. Soliciting and challenging client requirements, presenting and facilitating workshops, analyzing data, and configuring solutions in Workday, along with business analysis.
7. Collaborating with colleagues across our HR and Financials transformation teams, and the wider PwC network, to identify and create solutions that bring value to our clients.
8. Taking responsibility for the development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring.

This Role Is For You If

• You are an experienced finance professional who has helped deliver Workday Financials within your organization or is an existing user of Workday Financials.
• You have developed an affinity with Workday Financials and are considering a move into technology consulting.

OR

• You are an expert in Finance Transformation Consulting as a Solution Architect.
• Workday Financials experience is preferred, but other ERP experience will be considered.
• You have the ability to think beyond technology and understand how to align solutions with strategic business outcomes like revenue growth, cost reduction, and improved customer satisfaction.
• You can build relationships with senior stakeholders such as chief architects and the Head of Technology, often C-suite executives, becoming a trusted advisor and bridging the gap between technology and business. You confidently present architectural visions, solutions, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You are proficient in designing and implementing integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and legacy platforms.
• You possess strong digital, data, and business analysis skills and can work independently or lead teams to deliver results.
• You have a demonstrable record of managing people, including onshore and offshore resources.
