About The Role
Are you someone who thinks like a detective? Are you looking for an opportunity to drive positive and meaningful outcomes for society? If so, this is your opportunity to start your career as a Trainee Claims Handler. Based at our Claims Management Centre of Excellence in Bradford, you’ll play an important role in helping people who have suffered as a result of unacceptable working conditions in the past. You’ll be trained in how to help identify valid claims, fully investigate those claims to prove the evidence of employer negligence, and negotiate fair settlements for claimants. This is an entry‑level role, and no prior experience is required; however, any relevant experience is welcomed. Above all, we value a positive attitude and the right mindset. Our Claims Management team will provide comprehensive training to support your development and build your skills and confidence over time.
What Your Day Will Look Like
You’ll manage all aspects of the claims handling process which includes identifying the correct policy cover for each claim, reviewing historic documentation and complex scenarios, assessing new artefacts and documentation, considering new evidence and authorising payments for claimants. You’ll also liaise closely with your team, working together to achieve the agreed Service Levels and team‑wide objectives.
