Payroll Manager for Workday Alliance
PwC has been a leader in delivering Workday services since 2011 with major UK and global clients. As our team develops and grows we are currently looking for highly experienced Senior Workday Delivery Consultants to join our deep experts within our growing Workday Consulting Team.
Responsibilities
- Working in our Workforce Transformation team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution and collaborating with colleagues in the wider PwC network to identify and create solutions.
- Leading and managing our client facing Workday projects, taking full responsibility for on‑time high quality delivery of Discovery, Initial Deployments and Phase X Workday projects for our global clients.
- Taking responsibility for the overall solution design of our client facing Workday HCM projects – across functional modules, integrations or data.
- Ensuring deliverables across the functional, integrations and data workstreams are consistent and of a high quality.
- Working at all levels within our clients’ organisations from C‑suite to HR team members to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.
- Soliciting and challenging client requirements with professional scepticism, presenting and facilitating workshops, analysing data, and configuring solutions in Workday.
- Collaborating with colleagues across our HR and Financials transformation teams, and wider PwC network to identify and create solutions that bring value to our clients.
- Playing your part in our proposition and business development activities.
- Taking responsibility for development of more junior colleagues through career coaching and mentoring.
- Leading and inspiring others, keeping our team a fun place to work.
Qualifications
- Expert in HR Transformation Consulting as a highly experienced Workday delivery consultant.
- Must possess Workday Consultant Certification (or an international equivalent).
- Deep Workday HCM expertise, with current, and proficiency in designing and implementing Workday HCM, preferably with specialism in multiple areas such as Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Integrations, Studio, Extend and Data migration.
- Ability to think beyond technology and understand how to align solutions with strategic business outcomes, with strong digital, data and business analysis skills.
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders including C‑suite executives, becoming a trusted advisor and bridging the gap between technology and business.
- Confidence presenting Workday concepts, identifying solutions with reference to comparable past experience.
- Ability to listen to and critique requirements and provide imaginative solutions to challenges, with a demonstrable record of managing people, including onshore and offshore resources, and driving teams to deliver.
- Passion to invest in others, help them develop in their careers as part of our team, and a sense of pride in delivering high quality work as a trusted advisor to our clients.
