Our Resource Management (RM) team ensures we have the right people for the right jobs, at the right time, in the right places. Resource Management works collaboratively with our business to deliver successful people deployment solutions and build quality client teams with suitable skills and experience.

You do not need prior experience in Resource Management although it is preferable to apply for this role. However, a solid understanding of technology roles and skills β€” such as the distinctions between AI, Cloud, Data, and Software Engineering disciplines β€” is essential.

We play a key role in the delivery of our People Priorities; Fair Work Access, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Development, Engagement and providing Career Enhancing Experiences for our people. As the workforce of the future takes shape it’s an exciting time to be in Resource Management and play a pivotal role in driving our strategy and ambitions forward.

As a Technology Resource Officer, you will work alongside a team of resourcing professionals to support Tech Catalyst, our dedicated AI and technology innovation unit which will fast-track technology, AI, and data-driven transformation for both its clients and its service delivery. This role requires an individual who is confident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, often in a fast paced and changing environment, and with a genuine interest in technology.

You will work in partnership with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen and Management Information (MI) to inform and influence decisions and solutions to common resourcing challenges. Tech Catalyst are committed to driving the skills enablement agenda of the People Strategy, and therefore an interest in the Technology landscape would be preferable. This role would report to the Resourcing Manager, with the primary aim to maximise deployment whilst creating a better experience for our people.

This role is for you if you have:

  • Demonstrate expertise in technology and a strong grasp of digital skills and emerging trends β€” including the ability to distinguish between roles such as Data Scientist and Data Engineer. Our core focus areas include AI, Cloud, Data, and Software Engineering.
  • Experience in the delivery of people deployment and workforce planning solutions using systems and tools such as TalentLink and bespoke tools built on DevOps, PowerBI and Microsoft technologies to enable effective Workforce Planning.
  • Prior experience in Resource Management is not essential but preferable. We welcome candidates with transferable skills from related roles such as technology recruitment, talent acquisition, or workforce coordination within the tech sector.
  • Show a strong willingness to learn and adapt to Resource Management practices, with a proactive approach to developing new technology skills.
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in emerging technologies, including the use of GenAI or similar tools to enhance and optimise day-to-day work.
  • Share knowledge, best practice and network with your colleagues across the business and Resource Management Function.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to challenge with humility and build and manage long term relationships.
  • Able to interpret and analyse MI and data to identify resourcing gaps and support on wider workforce planning goals.
  • Ability to manage your own time and workload to meet varying demands, KPIs and deadlines.

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
