- Mergers & Acquisitions Integration (i.e. helping our clients protect and grow the value of an acquisition, develop a robust and realistic integration plan and then executing on it)
- Post-acquisition performance improvement (i.e. reviewing where the value might lie in the business and how realistic and sustainable cost savings can be achieved)
What Your Days Will Look Like
We are looking for individuals who have industry experience with developing and implementing software platforms and who can help answer the following questions that are typically asked by clients when considering an investment in a technology business or one that is tech-enabled:
- Is the platform well invested or will I need to spend cash in the short term to address ‘tech debt’?
- Is the platform well designed and can it support the planned business growth (either through increased scale, acquisition or addressing adjacent markets / territories)?
- Is the platform (and associated underlying infrastructure) robust and what are the implications in terms of uptime, availability and cost to serve?
- Do the roadmap initiatives align with and support the business plan?
- What is the competitive ‘moat’ when it comes to both features and functionality vs peers and the potential that others (such as AI) can address the same market at lower cost?
N.B. Whilst we expect candidates to be able to answer the questions above, we acknowledge and appreciate that candidates may not have experience in all areas (e.g. we expect some will have more experience with software vs infrastructure or product management vs software development).
This Role Is For You If
You are a technology expert who currently operates in a technical role (i.e. product owner / manager, business analyst, scrum master (or equivalent) or development / UX) within a software / tech-enabled business.
Specific Requirements
