As a Senior Manager in the M&A Integration team, you will have demonstrated deep technical experience in developing strategies for integrations, performing detailed integration planning and executing complex merger integrations. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping our clients to realise and maximise value from acquisitions. The M&AI team is a strategic priority for PwC's M&A Operations team within the Strategy& Value Creation business unit and the team works across the breadth of the deal lifecycle for both corporate and private equity clients.
What your days will look like:
- You will help our clients focus on the right priorities at the right time in their M&A integration projects.
- Leading and working with a number of stakeholders to make a meaningful, hands-on contribution and engaging deeply with our clients to define integration strategies and target operating models to deliver in line with the deal value case.
As a Senior Manager in the M&A Integration team, your role responsibilities will largely cover three main areas:
- Integration Programme Delivery: Design and build client integration programmes, including strategy definition, target operating model, value creation (synergy) assessment, integration planning (Day 1 and "100-Day"), and post-acquisition execution. Manage day-to-day client interactions, working with C-suite executives and their teams to deliver high-quality work and relevant recommendations.
- Business Development: Lead the creation of proposals and client presentations in collaboration with other PwC functional and sector teams. Drive the growth of the M&A Integration team by forging strong business relationships with clients.
- Practice Development: Collaborate with the team to build and share knowledge, support the continuous development of best practices, and introduce relevant new ideas (e.g., digital tools). Lead practice development initiatives and act as a role model to coach and develop team members.
The skills & experience we're looking for:
- Practical experience developing M&A integration strategy and plans, synergy assessment and development, designing and implementing target operating models, and executing business transformation projects or performance improvement in the context of M&A/deals.
- Knowledge of business strategy, operational transformation, and value creation.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, helping to assimilate and distill large amounts of complex information to resolve problems and reach a consensus around credible and executable solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and manage multiple stakeholders and lead by example.
