About The Role

You’ll join PwC’s Cyber, Data and Technology Resilience practice, working with Defence and government clients on complex cyber security challenges. As a Senior Manager, you’ll lead solution design and bid strategy for Defence cyber opportunities, shaping how PwC wins and delivers work across large programmes. You’ll translate deep technical expertise into commercially sound, high-quality proposals, working with sector leaders to grow our Defence business and strengthen cyber resilience across critical national infrastructure and mission‑critical systems.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Lead solution design and bid strategy from opportunity shaping through to submission
  • Design delivery models, including team structures, tools and approaches tailored to each engagement
  • Develop and review high-quality proposal content, ensuring technical credibility and alignment to client needs
  • Define PwC’s role within complex programmes, including collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  • Support client engagement activity where technical expertise is required to progress opportunities
  • Develop reusable cyber propositions and contribute to the growth of Defence offerings

This role is for you if

  • You have significant experience in cyber security, including time spent within or supporting the Defence sector
  • You have a strong technical foundation, with hands‑on experience in security architecture, assurance or cyber operations
  • You have experience leading or contributing to successful bids within complex, regulated environments
  • You understand Defence security governance, assurance and accreditation processes
  • You are able to design pragmatic delivery models within large, multi‑party programmes
  • You are confident presenting and writing clear, compelling technical content for senior stakeholders
  • You hold current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance (or recently lapsed and renewable)
