About The Role

PwC has the UKs largest Local Public Services consultancy team. We are currently working with Councils, Housing Associations, Charities and devolved Governments across the country. The team is growing over the next 6 months and to support this are recruiting a number of roles. These include increasing our Local Public Services team within the Enterprise Transformation (ET) Consulting Practice. The Enterprise Transformation team are passionate about working with and helping our Local Public Services (LPS) clients to transform the way they work at the Organisation-wide level. Our Local Public Services team help our clients change how they work at pace, using evidence and organisation-wide operating models enabled by technology. We also focus on transforming within the functions of our clients such as Social Care and Housing.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • As a Manager you will proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Senior Managers, Directors and above.
  • Working as part of the LPS team to lead and deliver transformation programmes to our clients across the country.
  • Take responsibility for overseeing and leading on deliverables for clients.
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients.
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand.

This Role Is For You If You Are

We are looking for individuals with Local Public Services project experience and ideally a background in consulting within any organisation. They should have a good working knowledge of at least one of Councils, Charities or Housing Associations. You will personally care about this market and bring that passion to drive change to how you work.

  • Operating model design and implementation for local public services.
  • Designing and implementing technology solutions for local public services.
  • Financial modelling and awareness to put in place local public services business cases.
  • Programme & project management.
  • Leading the writing of complex client deliverables.

You will be able to demonstrate how you have personally led change to help your clients to deliver tangible results.
