At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As part of a specialist team, within the wider Financial Services cluster, you will be encouraged to initiate and develop new ideas. Our highly motivated team has an excellent track record of delivering high quality work to major international clients and has ambitious growth plans.

About The Role

PwC Consulting is recruiting Director-level leaders to support business growth, with a focus on Business Integration using the BRS Aladdin platform. The role involves developing senior client relationships, leading complex client engagements, and contributing to practice growth. PwC works closely with C-suite leaders to deliver independent advice and transform front-to-back operations. The Asset & Wealth Management client base includes major global fund managers, service providers, and custodians, supported through innovative operating models that drive sustainable value, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Developing, owning and managing key client relationships
  • Identifying key client needs/issues and developing and leading on propositions which address these client issues
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets for Aladdin (Implementation and Aladdin sphere activities) within the AWM industry area
  • Contributing to our continued thought leadership to ensure that appropriate solutions are developed for our AWM clients
  • Developing the careers of the teams working with and reporting to you
  • Maintaining a consistently high and leading edge market profile
  • Leading Operational Transformation change projects, taking the leadership role in mixed PwC/client teams; the successful candidate will have a history and show a desire to continue to get stuck into delivery work rather than just focus on the sales and relationship side of the role

This Role Is For You If

  • Given the high teaming nature of our work and our consultative approach; significant experience gained from within one of the other Big 4 Consulting practices or similar large Consulting organisations is a key requirement without which you will not be considered
  • Track record of consulting related sales within the AWM industry gained from having worked in a similar Consulting organisation rather than Industry or Vendor side
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence C-Suite clients - becoming a truly ‘trusted advisor’
  • Experience of having led the development (recruitment, training, mentoring, proposition development etc.) of similar professional service organisations
  • Recognised programme lead (not workstream or subset) and known to the BRS Vendor teams across multiple Aladdin Implementations
  • Experience of implementing and strong knowledge of the full suite of Aladdin products (Enterprise, Accounting, Whole Portfolio View, ADC, E-Front)
  • Experience of having implemented all model types In-house, Provider Aladdin and full outsource models with good knowledge of the Provider Aladdin offerings of leading TPA’s
  • Experience of working with clients on the downstream and eco-systems surrounding Aladdin
  • Deep understanding of the end to end AM operating model, as well as experience with process improvement
  • Strong front to back functional and operational understanding of the role of all of the key players in the AWM value chain and across the lifecycle of a trade
  • Knowledge of the asset classes and products that our clients typically invest in (Equities, FI, Derivatives, PE, Real Estate, etc.)
  • Familiarity with other key systems and infrastructure used by AWM businesses across their front to back investment processes
