PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Employee Share Plan team. Candidates are welcome to apply from a range of backgrounds but legal drafting and legal/tax technical skills are required. The role will involve designing and implementing employee incentive schemes for our wide range of listed and private clients. In particular, we welcome candidates with strong legal drafting and technical skills together with tax skills and experience across some or all, EMI option schemes, Company Share Option Plans (CSOPs), growth shares, Employee Benefit Trusts (EBTs), and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Design and implement tailored employee incentive schemes for listed and private clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legal, tax, and regulatory requirements while delivering commercially effective solutions.
  • Advise on the structuring, operation, and governance of employee share plans, working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to align incentive arrangements with clients’ strategic objectives.
  • Undertake detailed technical analysis, due diligence, and high‑quality legal drafting to support robust incentive proposals, presenting clear recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative and market developments, contribute to the evolution of PwC’s reward offerings, and support the development of junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

This role is for you

  • Proven experience in a professional services firm or relevant industry role, ideally with exposure to employee incentive arrangements and client‑facing advisory work.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing projects and maintaining effective client relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and sound professional judgement.
  • Well‑developed interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience supporting or managing teams at different levels.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, underpinned by professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning and high‑quality delivery.
