About The Role

What Your Days Will Look Like
- Lead transactions on a day-to-day basis through coordinating the work of junior staff, interacting with clients and prospective counterparties.
- Input towards and review client deliverables, such as the preparation of pitch documents, client marketing materials, analysis of financial information and process update documents.
- Contribute to winning new work by supporting senior team members to identify and navigate new opportunities, deliver client pitches and proactively follow-up on leads.
- Work closely with other advisors (such as lawyers, due diligence providers, etc.) to review deal documents including providing commercial input on transaction terms.
- Provide commercial advice to our clients and assist them in negotiating transactions – often in time-sensitive, and value-critical circumstances.
The Role Is For You If
- Significant prior deals experience in M&A and/or greenfield finance or related areas (e.g. valuation and restructuring).
- Proven experience in project management of deals, with a track record of coaching and developing junior colleagues.
- Substantial prior experience in the infrastructure and/or energy industry.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including with senior audiences.
- Ability to lead teams that can work independently while balancing multiple priorities and delivering consistently high-quality outputs.
- Ability to undertake and review complex financial modelling.
- Strong financial and analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings from prior analysis in a clear, succinct and persuasive manner.
- Commercial awareness to understand client requirements, assess key deal parameters and articulate them in actionable form to relevant stakeholders, and manage transaction and engagement risks.
