Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You’ll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

Our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team is one of the fastest growing areas of PwC's Financial Services tax advisory practice. We are looking for a Senior Manager with strong UK Corporate Tax experience to join the team.

What Your Days Will Look Like

You will be responsible for helping to manage an established team and providing quality advisory services to a high-profile portfolio of both UK and multinational clients. This role offers opportunities to work on major transactions, international structuring, and a range of day‑to‑day UK tax matters and audit of tax work. There will also be opportunities to develop deeper knowledge in particular areas of interest such as group reorganisations, BEPs planning and divestments and acquisitions. You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients. You will benefit from a progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop client relationships, technical expertise and people management skills. As a Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to work with experienced Partners and Directors across the FS team. The team will provide you with the opportunity to put into practice your tax technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment.

This Role Is For You If

You have a solid background in UK corporate tax, gained within a professional services or corporate environment and knowledge of the financial services sector. Ideally, you will have practical experience of working within one or more of the asset management sub‑sectors, but this is not essential. CTA/CA/ACCA Qualification (or an international equivalent) is essential. You have strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills and can demonstrate the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.

What You’ll Receive From Us

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
