Senior Associate plays a lead functional and configuration role in CLM and AI-enabled contracting engagements. The role involves owning business analysis workstreams, translating requirements into CLM configurations, supporting technology selection, and designing scalable CLM solutions, while mentoring junior team members.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Business Analysis & Functional Leadership
- Lead current-state assessments of contract lifecycle processes, systems, and controls
- Own functional requirements definition including workflows, reporting, integrations, and data models
- Perform fit-gap analysis between business requirements and CLM technology capabilities
- Act as the functional lead for CLM workstreams on medium to large implementations
- CLM Technology, AI & Solution Design
- Lead or significantly contribute to CLM and AI solution selection engagements
- Design future-state contracting processes enabled by CLM and AI technologies
- Build and present functional prototypes and solution walkthroughs
- Configuration & Implementation Leadership
- Design and configure CLM solutions including contract templates, clause libraries, and metadata architecture; workflow rules, roles, permissions, and notifications; dashboards, reports, and integration touchpoints
- Translate business requirements into detailed configuration and design specifications
- Lead system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and go-live activities
- Architecture, Integration & Technical Workshops
- Develop high-level solution architecture for integrations between CLM and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, procurement)
- Conduct technical and functional workshops to understand current-state technology landscapes
- Collaborate with technical teams on integration and data migration approaches
- Pursuits, Stakeholder Management & Firm Contribution
- Support pursuit teams by reviewing RFPs and developing functional and technical proposal content
- Deliver CLM product demos to prospective clients
- Mentor Associates and review their deliverables
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted CLM advisor
- Develop deep familiarity with PwC systems and engagement governance
Qualifications
- Experience in CLM implementation, Business Analysis, or Legal/Contracting Technology
- Strong understanding of end-to-end CLM processes (certification preferred)
- Hands-on experience configuring one or more CLM platforms
- Experience acting as a Functional Lead or Senior Business Analyst
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
