About The Role

- The Banking Conduct team, with over 50 UK members, drives large-scale risk and regulatory changes in wholesale and retail financial services. Targeting retail banking professionals, we support clients in making strategic risk decisions, optimizing risk environments, maintaining customer focus, and being trusted partners to help their businesses grow.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- You will be a part of the team driving the development of technology-enabled client solutions and offerings which help our retail banking clients manage their conduct risks and deliver good customer outcomes. This is a growth priority for our business, and therefore provides a unique opportunity to be at the centre of growing our retail banking conduct proposition at a time of significant change across the industry.
- You will be supporting this growth area with a focus on helping build our technology-enabled retail conduct assets and services.
- As a key member of our team, you will have a client-facing role working as part of our delivery teams on client engagements; and managing and coaching junior staff.
Typical Projects In Our Team Include
- Consumer Duty
- Regulatory reforms
- Non-financial risk transformation
- Consumer credit and lending practices
- Regulatory authorisations and licensing
This Role Is For You If You Have
- Experience working within retail banking, specifically regarding non-financial and conduct risk and/or controls either from a consulting, industry or regulatory perspective
- A technology-enabled mindset, with prior experience of designing and/or using technology solutions to enhance risk management / controls processes (which may include data visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx)
- Commercial awareness of retail banking business models; sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
- An agility to effectively participate in varied projects within retail banking (with bank and non-bank clients)
- Understanding of the customer journey/experience in a regulated retail banking environment
