We are looking to recruit a number of Senior Associates to join our Corporate Tax Compliance teams based in Watford, Manchester, Birmingham or Belfast. We are an expanding, agile team of fun, collaborative individuals which gives its people the opportunity to grow in their career. You will join our team of experts specialising in supporting clients with their Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting obligations. Our clients range from multinationals to smaller mid-tier clients across a wide range of industry sectors, providing you with opportunities to broaden your technical knowledge. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of clients and technical areas, including the opportunity to deepen your expertise in a particular technical area or industry, e.g. tax accounting, real estate, financial services.
What your days will look like:
- Undertaking the preparation and completion of a wide range of corporation tax computations, including review of computations and assisting clients with queries.
- Liaising with the Data Team to enable collection and analysis of tax data.
- Dealing with client queries in relation to data requests, including preparation and review of follow-up queries and correspondence with appropriate internal and external parties.
- Preparing corporation tax accounting disclosures, tax payment advice calculations, computations and returns using the firm's standard software.
- Being responsible for organising, monitoring and managing your own workload on a portfolio of clients.
- Assisting in the development of colleagues.
- Drafting budgets and assisting with preparation and negotiations for new or repeat work.
This role is for you if:
- You have a firm grounding in UK Corporate Tax and experience preparing UK corporate tax computations and returns.
- Experience in reviewing Corporate tax returns.
- Have experience of working with a portfolio of clients.
- Must possess a ACA or CTA Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
