As part of the Solutioning Team within the Managed Service Catalyst—a specialist group driving PwC’s managed services growth—this role plays a pivotal part in designing and scaling high-impact solutions. Collaborating across Sales Directors, Solution Architects, and enabling functions, the role leads the development and execution of robust solutioning methodologies. It ensures our offerings address complex client challenges and position PwC to win and deliver transformative managed services engagements that create lasting strategic, regulatory, and commercial advantage.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and requirements.
- Ensure all opportunities, before they are solutioned, are appropriately qualified, this includes preparation of qualification papers for review meetings.
- Design and propose comprehensive solutions that address the client's needs, whether they are technological, operational, or a combination of both.
- Create high-level designs, including operating and delivery models, transition and implementation plans.
- Ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and cost-effective, ensure robust documentation of solution assumptions and dependencies.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the value and ROI of the proposed solutions.
This Role Is For You If You Have
- Experience in either designing outsourcing solutions across business operations and/or IT operations.
- Experience in embedding digital tools and technology to power operations.
- Experience in designing transition and transformation plans.
- Familiarity with business case development and assessing return on investment.
- Mentoring and coaching peers and colleagues to depart knowledge and share good practice.
- Experience in creating client proposals that bring the solution quality, differentiation, and purpose through strongly and clearly.
- Experience of Public Sector Preferred.
