The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role sits within the Sales capability, part of Sales & Marketing, PwC’s centralised support function, and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. We work together with the Clients and Markets Executive to build and sustain competitive advantage.
As a Bid Manager you will be managing the proposal process end to end, engaging the right people to do the right things at the right time. You will help the team with shaping their win strategy, and will make sure that they are clear on how they execute on that strategy. You will have responsibility for driving the proposal team, ensuring deadlines and timelines are adhered to and organising all parties involved. You will be an exceptional project manager with great communication skills.
What Your Days Will Look Like
- Providing end-to-end proposal support, including management, coaching, drafting, reviewing, and obtaining client feedback.
- Aligning with stakeholders to prioritise opportunities and embed best-practice through training, insights, and trend reporting.
- Drafting and refining key proposal materials such as cover letters, executive summaries, team bios, CVs, and firm experience.
- Sharing learning through internal debriefs, responding quickly to content queries, and building strong SME networks.
- Driving innovation by exploring new methodologies, tools, and GenAI to enhance proposal delivery.
- Collaborating across PwC teams (Design, Commercial Excellence, Resourcing, Risk, BD, RM, Marketing) while contributing as an active member of the Pursuits & Proposals community.
This Role Is For You If
- You have a strong background in proposal management in a complex environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional project management skills and ability to work with a large number of teams at once.
- Have excellent influencing, strong communication, leadership and facilitation skills in order to be credible and be able to influence management and senior stakeholders.
- Have a proactive ‘can-do approach’ is vital, self-starter mentality with sound commercial understanding.
- Can demonstrate experience of drafting and reviewing written communications to deliver specific messages within tight deadlines.
- Have the ability to drive and deliver excellent client service through the proposal process.
- Have strong emotional intelligence and an ability to flex style to the situation.
