About the Role

This role is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping how AI solutions are designed at the earliest stages of major opportunities. You will join a central technology enablement team that supports business leaders by providing deep technical expertise, architectural rigour and scalable solution design. As Director for AI Solution Architecture and Pre‑Sales Enablement, you will lead a team of senior architects who work on high‑impact AI opportunities. Your focus will be on translating complex business needs into robust, scalable AI architectures that can be delivered with confidence. You will help teams move faster by reducing rework, avoiding bespoke designs, and increasing reuse of proven solution components. The role is designed to address a common challenge in AI programmes: strong ideas that struggle to scale because early technical decisions were not grounded in delivery reality. You will ensure that solutions are designed with implementation, security and long‑term value in mind from the outset. You will be a visible technical leader, working directly with senior client and internal stakeholders to explain architecture choices, challenge assumptions, and build confidence in proposed solutions. Rather than owning revenue targets, your success will be measured by improved solution quality, faster decision‑making, and stronger conversion from idea to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to shape how AI solutions are conceived across a wide range of industries and use cases, leaving a lasting impact on both technical capability and market credibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and lead a senior AI solution architecture and technical pre‑sales team
  • Shape AI solutions at early stages to ensure they are scalable and delivery‑ready
  • Define standard AI architecture patterns and reference designs
  • Increase reuse of solution components, demos and prototypes
  • Reduce time taken to move from opportunity to validated technical solution
  • Act as senior technical authority in complex AI solution discussions
  • Improve quality and consistency of technical proposals and designs
  • Work closely with engineering leaders to align solution design with delivery capability

This Role Is For You If You Have

  • Experience leading solution architecture or technical pre‑sales teams
  • Strong background designing enterprise‑scale AI and data‑driven solutions
  • Experience turning early‑stage concepts into scalable technical designs
  • Ability to balance commercial urgency with sound architectural decisions
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Confidence engaging with senior technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Experience defining and enforcing architecture standards
  • Strong collaboration skills across business, architecture and engineering teams

What You’ll Receive From Us
