Our client, one of the UK's leading contractors in the medical and clean-room refurbishment and fit-out arena, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. Based from their offices in Dartford, Kent, our client has seen rapid growth over the past 4 years, driven by successfully securing framework agreements with many healthcare trusts and medical imaging suppliers alike.
Individual contracts range in value from £20k up to £10m each and typically comprise a soft strip and refurbishment to a very high standard of finish. Most projects are based in London and the Home counties.
Ideally from a Carpentry or Decorating background, the successful candidate will need to hold a valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualification. You will also need to be IT literate and have a UK driving license.
Typically working 7am to 4pm, Site Managers are normally site-based for the duration of the program, overseeing sub-contractors, ensuring site health & safety is observed, liaising with the client, internal design and commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
