Role Overview

We are looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. This role offers full on‑the‑job training, industry‑recognised qualifications, and the opportunity to build a successful career within a global insurance group. Employment type: Permanent.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and build lasting relationships.
• Provide tailored solutions to support unique client requirements across diverse products such as equine, motor, maritime and fine art insurance.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to gain industry qualifications.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand client portfolios.

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for insurance.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly in a sales environment.
• Current or aspiring sales experience (no prior insurance experience required).
• Ambition to progress into leadership roles within the company.
