Location: Wescot Credit Services Limited / Orbit Credit Services, Telford, TF3 4NT Employment type: Full-time, hybrid role (35 hours per week; 2 days in office / 3 days from home).
Role summary
The Talent Acquisition Advisor will partner with stakeholders to deliver a quality recruitment service, determine roles, define key skills and accountabilities, and write compelling job advertisements to attract suitable candidates via job boards and social media.
You will source, screen, qualify and shortlist candidates using direct search tools and networks, and support the end-to-end recruitment process while ensuring GDPR-compliant data handling in Workday ATS.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine role requirements, key skills, accountabilities, and create compelling advertisements to drive responses via job boards and social media.
- Attract suitable candidates through direct sourcing (e. g., Linked In, Indeed Recruiter) using Boolean search and other recruitment networks; screen and shortlist against vacancies.
- Support end-to-end recruitment: place advertisements, acknowledge responses, screen against criteria, and present shortlists to hiring managers.
- Maintain candidate information in Workday ATS in line with GDPR regulations.
- Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process, ensuring adherence to correct processes, fairness, timely feedback, and interviewing with note-taking and feedback as required.
- Contribute ideas to improve team effectiveness and participate in Talent Acquisition projects as needed.
- Manage multiple recruitment campaigns at different stages of their lifecycle.
- Key qualifications, skills and experience
- Proven recruitment experience across functions including BPOs within Telford & surrounding region.
- Experience recruiting finance sector/volume roles with strong market knowledge and terminology.
- End-to-end 360° recruitment experience with understanding of relevant employment law.
- Creative ability to develop and implement effective candidate sourcing strategies.
- Direct candidate sourcing proficiency with Boolean search and related techniques.
- Experience using an ATS / Workday; ability to manage multiple vacancies and deliver to requirements.
- Commercial awareness in financial services / call centre environments; strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of recruitment metrics, branding, diversity, talent mobility, social media, and workforce planning; awareness of risks including employment legislation and pre-employment screening.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates at all levels.
