Responsibilities

• Daily checks on the vehicles
• Safe loading / unloading of vehicles and coupling up trailers
• Delivering and collecting company equipment to and from all areas of the UK
• Completing all necessary worksheets and hire documentation
• General parts collections from suppliers when necessary
• Keeping tachograph and other legal requirements involved with modern‑day driving on UK roads and highways
• Providing 24/7 driver cover as required in line with driving hours legalities
• Keeping the company database, Protean system, up to date when not carrying out driving duties
• General maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
• Workshop duties as required
