Overview

Collection and Network Driver role based at Swansea Delivery Office.

This permanent contract is part-time (20 hours per week) with shifts across Monday to Friday between 14:30 and 18:30.

The role involves driving to collect and deliver items, as part of a team that provides reliable service to customers and business clients.

Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver all items on your route, including collection and delivery of mail and parcels.
  • Check post-boxes, visit post offices, and engage with business customers at prearranged times.
  • Collect mail and drop it off at processing centres; sort mailbags and ensure pieces reach the right place at the right time.
  • Deliver more than letters and parcels by providing trusted service to customers and communities.

As a Collection Driver, you are expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
