As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help ensure a positive customer experience through partner-led service and a passion for food. Your effort will contribute to the impression of the Waitrose brand and drive customer trust and loyalty.
Note: Night premium pay of £3.75 per hour applies to any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00, including existing Partners enrolled on Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Stock replenishment: keep shelves full and products in the right place at the right time for customers.
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery to customers' doors.
- Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and applying markdowns for items nearing their sell-by dates.
- Support the wider shop team with checkout help, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders, and more.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is welcome.
- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
- Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days).
