Role: Data Delivery Manager
We're looking for a Data Delivery Manager to support the delivery of a large, complex, multi‑year Data Retention transformation.
You will drive delivery across defined workstreams spanning Group, Life, Technology, Data, Risk and Legal - helping to establish a unified and sustainable approach to data retention and scalable data products.
You will translate programme objectives into executable delivery, working with third‑party providers and internal teams to assess systems against M&G data retention policies and coordinate the implementation of required remediation solutions.

You will lead analysis and implementation of retention rules within your scope and provide clear, data‑driven reporting into programme governance, ensuring senior stakeholders have confidence that data is managed, controlled and retired safely and transparently.
Through your work, you will contribute directly to strengthening operational resilience, reducing our risk profile and supporting the data foundations that underpin customer trust and future digital strategy.

- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data retention solutions across internal and third‑party systems, from initial requirements assessment through to solution implementation.
- Work with key third‑party providers to review their systems by documenting retention requirements and assessing this against current practice, identifying gaps and areas of non‑compliance.
- Define and oversee the implementation of data retention rules in collaboration with third parties, ensuring alignment with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Partner with business areas to review retention requirements related to internal systems and data, ensuring practice is in compliance with data retention policies.
- Work with business and technology teams to design and implement required rules to ensure compliant data retention and deletion practices.
- Lead analysis activities including data discovery, classification and definition of data retention requirements and proposed retention rules.
- Translate policy and regulatory requirements into clear delivery plans, business rules and technical requirements.
- Provide clear, concise and data‑driven reporting to senior management on delivery progress, risks and outcomes.
- Ensure appropriate governance, documentation and audit trail is maintained for all data retention activities.
